More "Alice"

By the way, sorry if this seems "sales-y". It's not supposed to be. (In fact, surprisingly for this time of the year we seem to be up to our ears with orders -almost as much so as we were before Christmas). But I am just SO absolutely pleased with the way these photos are coming out. It's also a relief to see Simon - the photographer, more of him later - and Alex managing to produce three such great photo shoots. All with such different feels. From having very few photos I was really happy with I am now like a child in a sweet shop! Don't these look good on the Etsy shop?! And I am having such fun putting them into the new shop - which is going to be splendiferous (can I use that word? Oh well, why not. I like its slightly silly quality) I think.Alice in Wonderland photoshoot with Alice shoulder bag.Link to the Etsy shop listing. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=11156282

Another from the shoot

I've been talking about us making an Elf Boy shoulder bag for many months. One of the good things about a photo-shoot is that it does get all these things done:Satin

The Six of Wands

My problem with the Six of Wands is that it tends to be a useful but somewhat worthy and boring card in most decks. So we decided with this version to really pull out the stops and make it into something much more controversial and thought-provoking:The Six of Wands from the Bohemian Gothic Tarot. By Baba Studio.

By the way, this witch is a real gargoyle that hangs over the Mala Strana end of the Charles Bridge. We make her larger, so that she could be seen properly on the card. Interestingly, very few people who walk under her notice her - I suppose there is generally too much going on and too many crowds.

A quick bit of Gothica

Updating Tarot of Prague site right now. It's mostly been fun, but I'm now doing the more difficult bits - fun stuff mostly over.So to inject a bit of excitement I'm doing some work on the Magic Prague pages - new pictures, maybe some new pages. I'm hoping to persuade someone here to write a few specialised articles too, but that's more long-term.Anyway, a quick little bit of bone decoration for you - from the Bone Chapel of course. I would still love to know more about the man who did all this work with the bones - although on second thoughts, maybe it's best not to know TOO much. We used it in one of the final Shadow of the Vampuss spreads, and very splendid it looked too.
