Postcards, postcards (warning, this is a semi-commercial posting)

We got our postcards from the printer and they are great. Also a whole stack of panoramas - which seem to get grabbed as fast as anyone sees them (we must put them away - they are supposed to be for American Book Expo). Left one panorama with my great physio this morning (she turned out to be good - this country is so sporty that physio is of very high standard)- she gently requested postcards too (big grin!) She kept saying "But this is so COOOL!" Nice (not that I approve of that "c" word of course ;_) ) So - we are sellng the spare postcards, hopefully this will offset some of the cost of printing (we kept the price down as we don't really see these as some big commercial thing). They are here: http://www.bohemian-cats.com/postcards.html Today we sold all we had - but we will pick up more from the printer tomorrow. Okay, advertising over. The next post will have pictures.

The panorama

Both immensely cheered by our comfortable and comforting medical experience, we get the panorama finished! (okay, ALEX gets the panorama finished - to be honest). This is a close-up Dragonflying This is the whole thing at about one tenth of real size so lots of detail is lost, but here it is: An afternoon in the garden

The Four of Wands

Breaking out of the routine. Getting away from the same old, same old - leaving the caution and conservatism behind. Oh - and having fun! Four of Wands But the little cat in the background is NONE too sure about all this. Anxious kitten

masked ball

I said I would show this to Little Britches as a wonderful doll she recently made reminds me of it. But I thought perhaps more people would like to take a look. The photo isn't great, as we had to take it through glass. It always gives me a shiver. The head above is on a hinge of course, so it snaps down to cover the old woman's face. Thoroughly ageist, sexist and nasty. But it has beauty too. It's one of the bizarre and beautiful things in our Museum of Decorative Art here in Prague. I will try to post some more in the next weeks. Old New Bone
